Differing modalities of the social crowd within subculture, boiled down to the individual level. Hardcore dance without the mosh pit. Historical narrative bend over and chronology getting lost, creating the room outside of time and place. Alienation in dance that is drawing out expression in response to the act of living. Technique of subversion. Interruption and conflict of interests through proximity of the bodies becoming a bonding experience. Isolating our own rituals and questioning what could exist outside of the given codes of belonging. Intense relationship of the two of us, shifting roles and power dynamics, while in between the struggle and excitement. The domestic sinking into mystic. Act of speech as act of making and becoming an act of refusal.
