"2 Contemporary Women" is a feminist contemporary dance performance/show, inspired by the woman's condition in today's society. We realise that throughout history not much has changed with regard to the status, condition, and the presence of women in positions of power, the way in which we are socially separated in two distinct categories and, especially, the impact this has on each of us. "2 Contemporary Women" is a show that suggests a perspective on these problems that is both humorous and serious. This show is recommended for everyone. A man can also be a feminist.

Ioana Marchidan is a choreographer, dancer and independent performer with over 14 years of experience in both state institutions and alongside independent artists from Romania and abroad. She is currently the artistic director of the LINOTIP Independent Choreographic Centre.

Flavia Giurgiu graduated from the "Octavian Stroia" Choreographic and Dramatic Arts High school in Cluj-Napoca in 2010 and the Acting section of the Theatre and Television College, Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, in 2013.

The Contemporary Dance Season is a cultural project financed within the cultural programme Bucharest, Participatory City by the Bucharest Mayor Office through the Cultural Projects Centre ARCUB.
